Inspirational Prof. Randy Pausch's Childhood Dreams Lecture

Today, I thought that I would share the following video. This is a greatly inspiring talk by Prof. Randy Pausch on Achieving One’s Childhood Dreams. He is dying of cancer and probably has a few months or so to live. He has a wife and three young children. But, when you see him you don’t know that he has cancer, since he is so enthusiastic about life. He is more enthusiastic about life than any of the healthy people I know. I hadn’t heard of him or of this talk until yesterday, when I watched Oprah Show with my wife and son. He has so much wisdom to share. So, I thought that I would post this original talk he gave at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). Here is a link to his website. You can access his appearance on the Oprah Show at this link. This video is among one of the most downloaded.

My father always says, “Simple Living. High Thinking.” 🙂

Desika – went to your site as you stumbled me and came across this post. I was excited to see that you were also moved by Randy’s lecture. I too wrote a post on it in Dec ’07 called “Passion and Enthusiasm”.

Thank you for sharing this. I like your blog and I look forward to reading more.
